to the giftiton.com Web site (the “Site”) you are currently
viewing and informs you what information is collected on the Site
and how it is used. Gift It On is the sole owner of the information
collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information

information does Gift It On collect from the Site?
To
maintain the Site, provide enhanced services and tailor the Site
to your needs, we collect some Personal and Anonymous Information.
When you visit certain areas of the Site, we may ask you to register
by providing Personal Information. For example, In order to create
a gift thread and use the functionality of My Gifts in this site,
a user must first complete the registration form. During registration
a user is required to give its contact information (such as email
address).
From time-to-time
our site requests information from users via surveys or contests.
Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary
and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this
information. Information requested may include contact information
(such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such
as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify
the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for
purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this
site. We
may also collect some Anonymous Information on the Site, including
which pages are viewed by visitors to the Site and other similar

does Gift It On use the information it collects from the Site?
Any
Personal Information provided is to improve the experience to our
user and no information is used for any promotional or advertising
purpose. Gift It On will not contact you with any manner of third
party advertising or promotion without your explicit permission.
Anonymous
Information collected through the Site is used for maintenance,
monitoring and market research uses, but this Anonymous Information
will not be linked to you without your permission.
What
choices do I have regarding the collection and use of information
from the Site?
When you submit Personal Information at the Site, you can
opt-out of receiving information from Gift It On about Gift It On
and related services except in the circumstance regarding site and
service announcement updates. Members with an active Gift threads
are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain
important information about the service. We communicate with the
user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating
to their account via email.
When
you submit content to the Site, you will have an opportunity to
opt out of receiving future communications by changing your preference
in the accounts section of My Gifts. You may also set your Internet
browser to reject cookies to limit the collection of Anonymous Information
by the Site, but this may affect your ability to use some parts
of the Site.
Does
Gift It On share my personal information gathered from the Site
with any third parties?
Gift
It On will not share your Personal Information with third parties,
except in the very limited circumstances outlined in the next question
and answer below. Your Personal Information is not otherwise sold,
marketed or shared with third parties without your permission.
Are
there any special circumstances that may require my information
to be shared with third parties?
Gift
It On may disclose Personal or Anonymous Information if required
to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is
necessary or appropriate to conform to the law or comply with legal
process served on Gift It On, to protect and defend the rights or
property of Gift It On, the Gift It On Service or our customers,
whether or not required to do so by law, or to protect the personal
safety of our customers or the public. Gift It On reserves the right
to contact appropriate authorities and disclose Personal or Anonymous
Information to them at its discretion when it appears that individuals
using our products or services are engaged in activities that are
illegal or violate the Gift It On User Agreement.
Can
I correct the information collected about me?
Gift It On believes in and supports your right to access
and edit the Personal Information you have provided us. This can
usually be done at the account page in My Gifts Account section
by signing in to your Account.
How
can I find out about changes to this Privacy Policy?
We
will update this policy as our business and services expand and change.
Updates to this policy will be posted on the Site, but in most cases
will not be sent to you directly. We encourage you to review this
policy periodically to review any changes that have been posted. One
thing that will never change at Gift It On is our commitment to your
